The Zhongshan Education and Sports Bureau on September 2 announced the list of preschool teachers who will receive an incentive due to qualification upgrade. A total of 1,002 preschool teachers in Zhongshan are set to receive the reward. Each teacher will receive a pecuniary award ranging from 2,000 to 9,000 yuan.

Zhu Yaoyao, a teacher from Dongsheng Qiushi Kindergarten who has obtained a master's degree, is eligible to receive a reward of 9,000 yuan.

In addition, 387 teachers have obtained their bachelor's degrees and have qualified for 3,000 yuan in grants.

According to statistics, a total of 4,881 in-service kindergarten teachers in Zhongshan have benefited from the reward policy since its implementation in 2015.
