The opening ceremony of the 2019 Zhongshan "Dream Realization Plan" at Shandong University was organized on October 20 afternoon at the Zhongshan Technician College. A total of 250 young industrial workers entered the university. 

Zhongshan this year cooperates with Shandong University, Zhongshan Polytechnic, Zhongshan Torch Polytechnic and Zhongshan Open University in a bid to support a total of 600 outstanding young industrial workers in Zhongshan to get involved in further education in college or university. 

Since 2011, Zhongshan's "Dream Realization Plan" has sponsored almost 6,000 young industrial workers in Zhongshan in fulfilling their university dream. 

The "Dream Realization Plan" is a public welfare project for young migrant workers in Guangdong province. The provincial and local governments provide subsidies for these students, who can pay a minimum tuition fee of 1,000 yuan for all courses to be completed.
