On July 27, He Yanping, 48, volunteered to sort, clean, disinfect and pack clothes at the "Neighborhood Clothes Bank" in Qiwan Community, East District after she sent her kid to school.

"People with difficulties in finding jobs can not only receive subsidies but also get volunteer service hours here, so that they can feel valued," said the spokesman of the East District Branch of the Zhongshan Human Resources and Social Security Bureau, adding that East District has been actively exploring the "Public welfare, Job & Service" employment mode, and vigorously creating public welfare jobs through the "Neighborhood Clothes Bank" to promote flexible employment for local people in need.

At present, a total of 17 people with employment difficulties, including He Yanping, work as volunteers at the "Neighborhood Clothes Bank". East District also issued a total of 190,903.4 yuan in subsidies for public welfare jobs for people with employment difficulties through the platform.

In addition, in June and July this year, the East District Branch of Zhongshan Human Resources and Social Security Bureau completed two free skill training sessions on housekeeping and elderly care, which benefited 120 people. By the end of June this year, 83 people with difficulties in finding jobs in East District had been reemployed.
