Tax subsidies will be given to overseas high-end talented people and urgently-needed professionals who work in Zhongshan and have paid more than 15% of their taxable income in individual income tax in Zhongshan. The subsidy is exempt from individual income tax restrictions.

The measurable paid taxes includes 6 aspects: income from wages and salaries, income from remuneration for personal services, income from author's remuneration, income from franchise royalties, business income, and subsidized income obtained by being selected in talent projects.

Up to now, 368 overseas talented people in Zhongshan have passed the subsidy application approval process and will receive subsidies of more than 38 million yuan combined.

At present, the review of personal income tax subsidies has been basically completed, and subsidies will be distributed to approved talented people soon.
