In order to enhance the soft power of the business environment and attract talented persons to live and work in Zhongshan, Zhongshan Housing Fund Management Center launched a preferential policy on provident fund loan for talent in April this year.

More than 200 people in Zhongshan have benefited from the policy since its implementation, of which the maximum loan amount is 1.749 million yuan. Zhongshan has invested 117 million yuan in provident fund loan for talent, saving more than 25 million yuan in interest expenses for talent at all levels.

Currently, the maximum provident fund loan for ordinary workers in Zhongshan is 400,000 yuan. Eligible talent have an increased loan limit when applying for the provident fund loan for their first house.

The loan limit for high-level talent from the first to sixth level is 2.4 million yuan, five times higher than that of ordinary workers. High-level talent from the seventh to eighth level, talent with sub-advanced or advanced technical job titles, and full-time masters or doctorate students can obtain a 30% increase in their loan limit, while talent in urgent fields or specially qualified can obtain a 20% increase.
