The Zhongshan Human Resources and Social Security Bureau, together with various human resources agencies, established a pricing references for salaries of various positions in Zhongshan after investigating the actual income of 157,000 employees from 713 enterprises in 18 industry categories.

The top three industries with the highest average salary were 23,074 yuan/month in the financial and insurance industries, 15,780 yuan/month in the computer application service industry, and 14,392 yuan/month in the information and consulting service industries.

The highest salaried industries according to need and qualified talent belonged to enterprise management talent in the software and information technology services industry, receiving the highest salary of 27,864 yuan/month. Those in machinery and equipment leasing industry ranked second, reaching 25,936 yuan/month, and those in computer, communication and other electronic equipment manufacturing industries ranked third, reaching 25,499 yuan/month.

Among wage standards for 498 occupations across 37 categories, 79 enjoyed a high monthly salary of more than 10,000 yuan. The highest monthly salary was 52,123 yuan for managers of manufacturing enterprises, followed by 45,257 yuan for managers of wholesale and retail enterprises, and the third was 43,261 yuan for general managers of construction enterprises.
