A ground-breaking ceremony for the expansion projects of Liangdu Primary School and Beitai Primary School in South District was held on the morning of January 21.

In 2021, South District will continue to increase investment in Liangdu Primary School and Beitai Primary School's expansion. A new teaching building, a complex building that includes a gymnasium and a dining hall, and an art building will be built in Liangdu Primary School. After the expansion, the dining hall will be able to serve more than 800 people at the same time. The school grounds will also include an indoor basketball court, a fencing hall, an assembly hall, a library and other functional places. Liangdu Primary School will then be able to accommodate 36 teaching classes, and the expansion project is expected to be completed and put into use before the end of 2021.

Beitai Primary School covers a total area of 21,924.3 square meters. Its expansion project consists of a teaching building, a gymnasium and a dining hall, and 36 teaching classes with complete infrastructure facilities will be accommodated after the project finishes. Efforts will be made to complete the main part of the expansion project by September 2021.
