Five Zhongshan units, including Juxiangyuan, Zhongzhi Pharmaceutical, Zhongshan Torch Polytechnic, Junjo Pharmaceuticals and XG Intelligent, were approved to set up doctoral workstations this year, the Human Resources and Social Security Department of Guangdong Province announced recently through a notice.

Currently, Zhongshan is home to 15 post-doctoral workstations, 39 post-doctoral innovation practice bases and 31 doctoral workstations. A total 56 post-doctorate scholars and about 240 doctorate students work at these workstations and bases.

Human resources and social security departments in Zhongshan are revising the stipulations on the Administration of Doctoral and Post-Doctoral Researchers in Zhongshan to strengthen service and security standards for post-doctoral researchers.
