This year, Zhongshan became one of the second pilot cities for vocational training voucher. So far, the city has issued 365 targeted training vouchers to technical college students, employees and key employment groups.

There are two kinds of vocational training vouchers: sign up vouchers and non-face value vouchers. Sign up vouchers are mainly provided for major employment groups to participate in free skills training courses through government-purchased services. Those who get vocational training vouchers do not need to pay any sign up fees, thus eliminating the need for later reimbursement.

The other vouchers are mainly provided for people who participate in institutional training at their own expense in unsaturated jobs in Zhongshan. Workers can apply for vocational training vouchers, choose training institutions independently, pay for training, and apply for subsidies after obtaining the certificate.
