Torch Development Zone (TDZ) and the Sun Yat-sen Memorial Secondary School on September 8 jointly hosted a signing ceremony for the trusteeship of 4 public junior high schools including Torch Development Zone No.1 Middle School, Torch Development Zone No.2 Middle School, Minzhong Middle School and Langwang Middle School, which are now incorporated into the education group under the Sun Yat-sen Memorial Secondary School.

Lin Jialiang, principal of the Sun Yat-sen Memorial Secondary School, said at the ceremony that the 4 schools will be synchronized in 6 aspects to develop under the same standards, school development indicators, management, recruitment, teaching and research, and evaluation and reward systems.

In recent years, many towns and districts have established education group cooperation relationships with schools in Zhongshan, such as West District and Zhongshan No.1 Middle School, Shaxi Town and Longshan Middle School, Dachong Town and Zhongshan Overseas Chinese Secondary School, and the coming Shiqi District and Zhongshan Experimental Middle School.
