Zhongshan held a video meeting for the 2022 National College Entrance Examination (Gaokao) and Senior High School Entrance Examination (Zhongkao) on the evening of May 29.

This year, there are 17,126 Gaokao candidates in Zhongshan, an increase of 1,948 from last year. Zhongshan has 11 examination sites, one more than last year (adding Yang Xian Yi Middle School), with over 3,000 examination staff participating, an increase of more than 1,000.

There are more than 83,000 Zhongkao candidates in Zhongshan (including second year junior high school students taking geography and biology exams), with 40 examination sites, 1,609 examination rooms, and over 5,000 staff.

From June 5 to 6, unified nucleic acid testing will be carried out for Gaokao and Zhongkao candidates and staff in Zhongshan.
