Zhongshan has begun identification of enterprise special technicians, and the applications will close on June 30.

Assessment classification and criteria

Classification: A, B, C and D

Criteria: Applicants must work full-time in Zhongshan, possess a signed labor (employment) contract with Zhongshan-based enterprises, and pay personal income tax according to law; Their current work must be closely related to their majors or specialties, and fall into one of the seven categories such as core technology, invention and creation, and management.

Benefits for identified technicians 

For those recognized as a Enterprise Special Technician, they will enjoy policy support and favorable treatment in terms of financial subsidies, children's schooling, medical services and housing. The special subsidies can reach up to 2 million yuan each person. Special technicians can get subsidies starting from the second year after signing an employment contract. Those of grades A, B, C and D will be given subsidies of 2 million yuan, 1 million yuan, 500,000 yuan, and 200,000 yuan respectively divided among three years with a ratio of 4: 2: 4. The subsidies include 50% as a housing subsidy and 50% as general subsidies.

The benefits also combine the allocation of housing with monetary subsidies.
