The 2022 Mengniu World Cup Youth Football Tour came to Zhongshan on July 18. The campaign aims to select 400 teenage football players, aged 9 to 16, across the country, including 14 from Zhongshan.

To cope with the selection, Shiqi District will organize an invitational event among primary and secondary schools in late July, which attracts such many schools as Shiqi High School, Shiqi No.1 Primary School and Dasin School of Shiqi Central Primary School.

The 14 teenagers finally selected will participate in a 15-day summer camp in August. They will receive training from the China Women's National Football Team and official FIFA coaches, and also have the chance to watch the 2022 World Cup matches in Qatar.
