The opening ceremony of Zhongshan International Talent Hub and "Talent Month" was held in Tsuihang New District on the afternoon of September 7. Subsequently, a tea forum for talent was held, with experts and top talent participating to exchange views and provide suggestions on such topic as the accelerated construction of the Guangdong Reform and Innovation Experimental Zone for the Integrated and Interactive Development of the East and West Banks of the Pearl River Estuary.

In addition, individuals and teams with outstanding contribution to Zhongshan's development were awarded at the event. Five enterprises including Mingyang Smart Energy and Akeso Biopharma were given a reward of 2 million yuan each, and nine enterprise talented people including Poon Hung Fai were given a reward to 200,000 yuan each.

The Tsuihang New District Macao and Zhongshan Youth Innovation and Entrepreneurship Park that is built in Zhongshan International Talent Hub also opened on the same day.
