In the first three quarters of this year, Zhongshan's overall employment situation remained stable, with more than 48,000 urban jobs created by the end of September.
Since the beginning of this year, Zhongshan has expanded its labor supply through live streaming. In the first three quarters, the city ran more than 150 recruitment events, serving more than 200,000 job seekers. The annual labor resources campaign kicked off in late September, with the first live streaming activity attracting nearly 138,000 fresh graduates and the second drawing more than 187,000 undergraduates from 107 colleges and universities across the country.
This year, Zhongshan has organized four job fairs for mothers. At present, 71 enterprises in Zhongshan that offer a total of 5,914 jobs have helped 1,390 mothers get employed.
Since August, Zhongshan has granted a one-time subsidy of 1,500 yuan to enterprises for each eligible graduate employed to promote recruitment. So far, more than 2,600 enterprises in Zhongshan have received total subsidies of nearly 10 million yuan.
To support Hong Kong and Macao youth in innovation and entrepreneurship, Zhongshan has rolled out a series of policies and measures. Maximum subsidies of 10,000 yuan, 18,000 yuan and 30,000 yuan will be given to Hong Kong and Macao youth to start up business, pay rent and promote employment, respectively.
