One of Zhongshan's annual top 10 people's livelihood projects is to "increase education service supply", which includes a task to add 4,000 more standard kindergarten vacancies this year.

Since the beginning of this year, Zhongshan has helped achieve the goal of public kindergarten construction by granting special incentives and subsidies to new public kindergartens, exempting some public kindergartens from rentals, and issuing special government bonds.

By late November, Zhongshan had added 7,910 standard kindergarten vacancies, overfulfilling the annual task by 198%. A total of 15 new public kindergartens and 4 private kindergartens were newly constructed, and 5 public kindergartens were reconstructed.
