The 2024 Asian Junior and Cadet Fencing Championship held in Manama, the capital of Bahrain, entered the third match day on February 24 Beijing time. Peng Shengwei, a fencer from Zhongshan, and his teammates defeated the strong Kazakhstan team, helping the Chinese junior fencing team win the men's team epee champion.

Born in 2006, Peng was selected by Torch Development Zone to join the Zhongshan Sports School fencing team in 2015. He joined the provincial training team in October 2023 and is in the national training team now. In 2022, he won the championship of the men's Group B individual epee competition at the 16th Guangdong Provincial Games.
