The Zhongshan Institute of Advanced Cryogenic Technology (ZIAC), located in South District, Zhongshan, opened on July 30.

At the opening ceremony, ZIAC signed cooperation agreements with 11 renowned scientific research institutions and enterprises, including the Shenzhen International Quantum Academy, Fullcryo Beijing and the Institute of Modern Physics, Chinese Academy of Sciences.

The Zhongshan Scientist Small Town was also unveiled on the same day, with the positioning of "GBA Hub, Innovation Core, Advanced Industries Agglomeration, Talent Hub, Pleasant Living Environment".

The Small Town consists of four major areas, namely the Core Innovation Area, the Intelligent Transformation Area, the Quality Life Area and the Ecological Park. Specifically, the Core Innovation Area is centered around ZIAC and Zhongshan Industrial Technology Research Center, aiming to build a place for basic research and achievement transformation.
