The 2024 National Fencing Championships took place at the Wuxi Taihu International Expo Center in Jiangsu Province on October 22. In the men's epee team finals, two athletes from Zhongshan Sports School, Huang Zhongming and Peng Shengwei, helped Guangdong win the championship with outstanding performance.

Born in 2002, Huang Zhongming was selected to the second training squad of the national fencing team for the Paris 2024 Olympics in February 2022. Born in 2006, Peng Shengwei was selected to the provincial training team in 2022, and is currently training with the national team.
