The 37th International Olympiad in Informatics (IOI) took place in Sucre, Bolivia from July 29 to August 3, Beijing time. 

The event drew representative teams from over 90 countries and regions, with over 600 young competitors and accompanying guests in attendance. All four Chinese national team members secured gold medals.

Liu Haifeng of Sun Yat-sen Memorial Secondary School delivered a dual triumph: earning international gold while achieving a top 8 global finish. This marks the third IOI gold medal for the school's students.
