The IFSC Youth World Championships 2025 took place in Finland's capital Helsinki from July 28 to August 3.

Li Meini, a student from Zhongshan's Sun Yat-sen Memorial Secondary School, claimed China's first gold in the event in the early hours of July 31 (Beijing time) when she topped the U17 women' bouldering final.

This marks her second Youth World Championships title, adding to the U16 bouldering gold she secured in 2024.
