Chinese kickboxer Li Lishan clinched the women's 51kg championship at the RCC Fair Fight 35 in Yekaterinburg, Russia on April 26. She decisively defeated Russian star Kristina Purgina with a 3-0 score, securing the gold belt in the final.

In 2012, as a second-year junior high student, Li was recruited to Zhongshan Sports School, becoming one of the first members of the school's women's boxing team. 

After graduation in 2015, Li told her coach of her ambition to pursue combat sports, paving the way for her transition from boxing to kickboxing.

Li officially turned pro in 2018 upon joining Shengli Fight Club in Shenzhen. Her career surged in recent years, highlighted by the 2023 victory in the 52kg division at the Karate Combat event in Dominica.
