Zhongshan's first expert think tank for child-friendly city development was established on October 13, with 29 specialists from various fields appointed as the inaugural members.

The inaugural experts come from diverse fields, including child-related law, policy, physical and mental health, safety, education, rights protection, cultural and sports activities and industry and economy, as well as urban planning and spatial development.

The think tank will address major theoretical and practical issues in Zhongshan's efforts to build a child-friendly city, offering policy advice on such priorities as policymaking, planning, project implementation and impact assessment.
