The Zhongshan Jishuitan Orthopedic Hospital (ZJOH) will add Pediatric Orthopedics Department in July to provide diagnosis and treatment of motor system diseases for newborn and children and teenagers under 14.

After that, ZJOH will have 6 departments, namely Spinal Surgery Department, Traumatic Orthopedics Department, Orthopedics Department, Hand Surgery Department, Rehabilitation Department and Pediatric Orthopedics Department.

ZJOH is a public non-profit orthopedic specialty hospital co-hosted by the Zhongshan government and the Beijing Jishuitan Hospital. It became one of Zhongshan's designated hospital for medical insurance since April 15, 2019, and it will achieve universal medical insurance settlement in late June. Routine treatment is undertaken by experts sent from the Beijing Jishuitan Hospital.

Yang Jie, Deputy Chief of Pediatric Orthopedics of the Beijing Jishuitan Hospital, will offer treatment in ZJOH from July 8 to 12.
