Officials of Zhongshan Health Bureau, including deputy director Yang Handong, chief of Planning Development and Information Technology Department Zhou Weifang, and chief of Medical Administration Department Li Cuiping, on August 23 were invited to the radio program "People's Voice on Friday" to interact with the public on the topic "Smart Healthcare".

Yang Handong disclosed that the total number of "Health Pass" for Zhongshan residents has exceeded 720,000. The Health Pass can be used in 30 public hospitals in Zhongshan.

The all-in-one Health Pass is a real-name authenticated application (e-card) based on social security card that allows cross-hospital mobile payment and services. With a Health Pass, patients are not necessary to queue up at hospital counters, and their family members can make remote payments via mobile phone.

In addition, the "Health Pass" application also provides a variety of health management functions, such as consultation guidelines, appointment registration, first-time medical documentation, etc.
