The South District "Famous Doctor Office", jointly built by the South District Community Health Center and the Zhongshan People's Hospital, opened for operation on the morning of September 4 in Chengnan Community Health Station.

The "Famous Doctor Office" of Chengnan Community features select senior experts in cardiovascular medicine, endocrinology, neurology, general medicine, nephrology, and many other specialties assigned by the Zhongshan People's Hospital. These specialty field have been established based on the common and frequently-occurring diseases of residents living within its service range.

Currently, medical experts each take their turn to visit with patients at the office each Wednesday. Additional visitation will be added in the future according to that needs of the residents.

Residents who go to the "Famous Doctor Office" can register directly on site or make registration appointments by telephone.

Zhang Xiaoping, Director of the South District Community Health Center, said that in the future, patients in South District will be able to directly enjoy the services of the specialist team from Grade-A Tertiary Hospitals at their "doorstep".
