In order to meet the needs of more disabled seniors, recovering patients and other special groups requiring in-home nursing service, the Zhongshan Health Bureau has confirmed that 30 medical institutions covering the whole city will launch "Internet+ nursing service" this year. Currently, 8 of these medical institutions have already offered the service.

In July 2019, the "Healthy Zhongshan" Internet+ nursing service platform was launched in Zhongshan, through which 889 people have made appointments for in-home nursing service so far. Some 843 participating nurses have provided over 700 hours of in-home nursing service to patients.
