Installing food inspection labs in schools is a key project in Zhongshan this year. According to the the plan, food inspection labs will be built in 81 schools serving more than 1,000 teachers and students in Zhongshan this year, and 231 schools will conduct food inspections at least once a week.

So far, 40 schools have completed the construction of food inspection labs, 9 have established food inspection stations, and 60 have started the construction of food inspection stations.

Inspection staff are mostly allocated by schools. A few days ago, the Zhongshan Administration for Market Regulation carried out a citywide inspection ability training program in schools. Nearly 700 school inspection staff received training to help them master a number of food inspection skills in a timely manner.

Next, the Zhongshan Administration for Market Regulation will organize on-site practical training at inspection labs, formulate detailed inspection standards, implement inspection projects for labs and stations, and urge the schools to publicize relevant information about food inspections.
