Based on the instruction of the Zhongshan Headquarters for Epidemic Prevention and Control, the Zhongshan Health Bureau recently signed a technical cooperation agreement with Guangzhou Huayin Health Technology Co Ltd for the construction of an urban nucleic acid testing base. The two parties plan to jointly build an urban medical testing base that meets the requirements for national nucleic acid testing competency by the end of December this year.

According to relevant national and provincial documents, cities above the prefecture level must build at least one nucleic acid testing base for every 1 million permanent residents in the urban areas by the end of this year, and the testing capacity should reach 10,000 copies/day and 30,000 copies/day in the case of any epidemic outbreak.

The construction plan shows that after the establishment of the base, daily testing capacity can reach 10,000 to 50,000 samples. Huanyin promises that in the event of an emergency outbreak in Zhongshan, 100,000 nucleic acid testing samples per day will be available to fully support epidemic prevention measures in Zhongshan.
