The first urban nucleic acid testing base in Zhongshan was recently unveiled.

Depending on the technical resources of Guangzhou Huayin Health Medical Group Co Ltd in COVID-19 testing, medical examination, pathological diagnosis, technology R&D, etc, the base mainly undertakes services such as COVID-19 nucleic acid testing and provides medical services such as regional public health and medical diagnosis.

Normal operation of the base laboratory has a daily testing capacity of 10,000 copies, and the capacity can be expanded to 50,000 copies within 12 hours or 500,000 copies within 24 hours through large-scale screening of samples in case of an emergency.

Now, all hospitals above Grade II in Zhongshan have set up nucleic acid testing laboratories and formed 23 testing facilities with 148 qualified laboratory staff and 1,851 nucleic acid sampling personnel. The daily testing capacity in Zhongshan exceeds 40,000 copies, with a maximum of 70,000.
