Guangdong's first childcare general insurance scheme for nursery institutions was launched recently in Zhongshan, aiming to safeguard the healthy development of childcare services for infants and children under 3 years old.

A spokesperson of the Zhongshan Health Bureau said that it is difficult for nursery institutions to rule out all risks in daily operation, such as the accidental injuries of infants, parents or other personnel, losses of fixed assets and property, as well as accidents and diseases caught by employees or infants and children aged 0-3. In light of this, the general childcare insurance will provide comprehensive risk protection for nursery institutions.

It offers three solutions for nursery institutions focusing on each staff, infants and children.  These solutions are tailored to protect the institution's safety, employee care and baby growth, covering accidental bodily injury, property loss, public safety and so on. Institutions can choose which content to cover and the cost of the insurance according to their needs.
