Zhongshan has recently launched the COVID-19 booster shot vaccination program across the city.

Citizens (aged 18 or above) who have received inactivated vaccines produced by Sinopharm NVSI Beijing, SINOVAC and Sinopharm NVSI Wuhan, or adenovirus vector vaccines produced by CanSino Biologics, can take booster shots at least 6 months (180 days) after full vaccination.

Over 100,000 citizens in Zhongshan will get booster shots this month, and the vaccination peak is expected to come in December.

Eligible citizens are suggested to make an appointment through Healthy Zhongshan APP or other channels before free vaccination.
