1. NAT certificates required to enter public places
From April 11 to April 13, Zhongshan will implement such epidemic control measures as follows:
● Starting 14:00 on April 11, people coming (returning) from places with local outbreaks within 14 days are required to provide a proof of negative nucleic acid testing result within 24 hours when entering a public place in Zhongshan.
● Starting 14:00 on April 12, other people (excluding secondary and primary school students and children) who need to enter any indoor public venue (supermarket, farmer's market, entertainment venue, etc) or residential community and take public transport are required to provide a proof of negative result or sampling record of nucleic acid testing within 48 hours.
People holding a travel history code with an asterisk (*) mark or a RED/YELLOW health code are not allowed to take public transport.
All these measures might be adjusted dynamically based on the latest outbreak risk assessment results.
2. Sanxiang implements temporary traffic control
On April 10, a light COVID-19 case was found in Sanxiang Town, Zhongshan among close contacts of confirmed cases in Guangzhou. The case has been transferred to a designated hospital for quarantine and treatment.
Starting April 10 night, all roads entering or exiting Sanxiang Town are under temporary control. During the control period, all people can only enter the town, while leaving is not allowed.
If one really need to leave or enter the town for critical or emergency medical treatment or other special reasons, it is required to present a valid negative nucleic test result within 24 hours and obtain a traffic permit upon approval from the Office of COVID-19 Prevention and Control Headquarters in Sanxiang Town.
