The 2022 Seminar on ECLS Regional Integrative Development and the launch ceremony of the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area (Zhongshan) ECMO Treatment Center were held on September 22.

Hospital directors from Beijing and Greater Bay Area cities attended the meeting in both online and offline forms. Twenty-eight hospitals from Guangzhou, Shenzhen, Hong Kong and Macao were awarded a plaque as a member unit of the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area (Zhongshan) ECMO Alliance.

Li Binfei, president of Zhongshan People's Hospital, said that the ECMO technology will be introduced to various medical institutions in the Greater Bay Area to realize regional integrative development of ECMO technology. Zhongshan People's Hospital will also provide member units of the GBA ECMO Alliance with training, technical support and consultation service.
