Zhongshan City People's Hospital launched a digital AI hospital guide on October 20, becoming the first in Guangdong province to start using such services.

The AI hospital guide can provide services 24 hours a day and accurately answer patients' questions about their medical concerns, making medical services more efficient and convenient.

"Currently, the AI guide can offer services in terms of health education, appointment making, medical consultation and guidance. It can also recommend departments and doctors," said a staff member of Zhongshan City People's Hospital.

The hospital will soon launch a 24-hour AI patient service, which can quickly respond to patients' needs, handle a large number of inquiries, and provide accurate guidance and medical knowledge.
