International Nurses Day fell on May 12, and the Zhongshan Health Bureau issued a congratulatory message to extend festive greetings and warmest regards to healthcare workers across the city.

Zhongshan's nursing workforce has continued to grow in recent years, with the number of registered nurses reaching 17,445 now.

The city's 100 specialist nurse training bases provide strong support for talent development, while specialist nursing clinics serve nearly 120,000 patients per year.

"Internet+ nursing" services have completed over 5,800 sessions, up 22% year on year, while the pilot program for attendant-free care services is progressing steadily.
