Beginning on July 1, the two 24-hour Public Self-service Zones were put into trial operation in Downtown Area and Shalang area of the West District. They provide convenience of 24-hour government services for the public.

The entrance of the 24-hour public self-service zone features an automatic door for ID swipe identification. The zone is also to be equipped in the near future with a self-service terminal that can handle the business of social security inquiry and printing, housing certificate inquiry and printing, and traffic violation record inquiry and processing.  

The convenient public self-service zone will provide citizens with the access to these important services at any time by simply utilizing their second-generation ID cards. 

West District will continue to make future improvements to the service functions of the 24-hour public self-service zones by adding more software and hardware facilities to provide multiple functions and continued round-the-clock self-service for commercial and public use.
