The "No.1 Service Counters" set up in Zhongshan traffic police department's office hall has been completed and put into use. "No.1 Service Counters" are established by the Guangdong provincial traffic police department with the purpose of handling "difficult and miscellaneous cases" related to the management of vehicles and driver's licenses and the settling of traffic violations across departments and regions.
The cases accepted by "No.1 Service Counters" mainly include: objections to traffic violations recorded in traffic technology monitoring data; complaints and reports of traffic violations committed by fake-licensed vehicles; objections to sanctions on traffic violations; complaints about failure to handle formalities related to motor vehicles and driving licenses; other difficult issues that need to be solved in coordination across jurisdictions and departments.
"No.1 Service Counters" adopts a time-limited completion system. For cases which do not need cross-jurisdictional verification, investigation and processing, results shall be fed back within 5 working days; for cases that need cross-regional verification, investigation and processing, results shall be fed backs within 10 business days; for those that need assistance from public security and traffic management departments outside Guangdong in investigating and processing, the time limit for the completion may be appropriately extended.
