As stated by the Zhongshan Public Transportation Group, the customized bus line D1 (Zhongshan People's Hospital to Dongfeng Town Government) became operational on December 30.

The following stations are found along the route of D1 bus: Zhongshan People's Hospital, Dasin Metro-mall, Dongsheng Garden, Zhongshan North Station, Intersection of Zhongshan No.2 People's Hospital, Da'nan Middle School, Fusha Town Government, Intersection of Xingchang Road in Dongfeng Town, Intersection of Yongyi Village, Dongfeng Magic Center, Intersection of Hetai Village, and Dongfeng Town Government.

The total distance of this bus route is about 36 kilometers. Ticketing is presently limited to legal working days. D1 bus runs eight trips every day, of which the buses begin at 7:00, 7:30, 16:00 and 16:30 from Dongfeng Town Government, and at 8:30, 9:00, 17:30 and 18:00 from Zhongshan People's Hospital.

"So far, citizens can only purchase tickets online through the official WeChat account '中山公交集团' (Zhongshan Public Transportation Group). The ticket is bought by clicking on the '定制服务' (Customized Service) button with one passenger one seat services provided." According to the Zhongshan Public Transportation Group, the fare of D1 bus is 15 yuan per person, and Zhongshan citizens can enjoy a preferential fare at 9 yuan per person during its trial run.
