On March 21 and 23, Zhongshan Branch of Guangzhou Arbitration Commission (referred to as Zhongshan Branch) heard 12 series foreign-related entrusted service disputes through the online court hearing method.

The parties involved in these 12 cases were the same. The applicant was a Zhongshan agency and the respondent was an Australian Chinese. The arbitration court took the initiative to communicate and negotiate with both parties under the condition of fully considering the distance, safety, and other factors of both parties. All parties agreed to adopt the remote arbitration mode. The on-line arbitration of the 12 cases was completed within two days.

A spokesperson for the Zhongshan Branch said that online arbitration can timely safeguard the arbitration rights and ensure health and safety of involved parties. At the same time, it can also reduce the arbitration cost of involved parties.
