A charity barber shop opened in Taoyuan Community, East District on the morning of June 30, attracting many residents to come for a haircut.

"We can have free haircuts by a professional barber just within the community. I'd like to tell everyone about the good news," said Rong Yueying. The 62-year-old was the first senior guest to come into the charity barber shop.

The charity barber shop covers an area of about 25 square meters, with simple but elegant decorations and a complete set of equipment.

On every Tuesday, Thursday and Saturday from 9:00 to 11:30 (except official holidays), all residents over 60 years old, people with disabilities, and people from low-income families and families supported by subsistence allowances in Taoyuan Community can go to the shop for a free haircut.
