The Information Network Security Research Center of Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area was recently unveiled at the Zhongshan Branch of China Telecom Co Ltd. The company signed a cooperation agreement with the Zhongshan Public Security Bureau and the Third Research Institute of the Ministry of Public Security.

The research center includes an Information Network Security Innovation Laboratory and an Electronic Forensic Technologies and Combined Application Laboratory. It focuses on technology R&D, scientific research, talent training, hardware construction, open communication and etc. It aims at providing technical support, services and solutions for public security and other industries. The center will train high-level professional technical personnel for information network security and electronic forensics careers in Zhongshan, which will further promote the rapid development of information network security in the Greater Bay Area.
