Zhongshan's first labor dispute arbitration case under the Transregional Cooperation Mechanism for Labor Dispute Arbitration (RC5) was held online on the afternoon of June 16.

This is the first Zhongshan transregional cooperation labor dispute arbitration case after the establishment of RC5 (Dongguan, Foshan, Zhongshan, Nansha of Guangzhou and Hengqin of Zhuhai in April this year.

The case was handled through an online trial by a judicial bench composed of arbitrators from the labor dispute arbitration courts of Zhongshan, Nansha District of Guangzhou, and Hengqin New Area of Zhuhai.

The head of the Zhongshan Labor Arbitration Court said that the new mechanism is conducive to the timely resolution of labor and personnel disputes. It is more convenient for the involved parties and arbitrators to participate in arbitration activities nearby, thus improving the efficiency of regional arbitrations and saving arbitration costs.
