A "social security service site" at the East District Branch of China Construction Bank was unveiled on June 23.

In the bank's main hall, there are both "Social Security and Government Affairs E-service" windows as well as an automated service area. Intelligent machines able to handle various social security services and printers are lined up to provide self-help services for citizens.

Starting from July 1, service sites of this kind will offer services at 126 branches of 9 banks including CCB, ICBC and ABC, across all of Zhongshan's 25 towns and sub-districts, providing 30 high-frequency services in 4 categories for more than 2 million people with social security insurance in Zhongshan.

"It is very convenient to handle social security issues and banking business together without waiting in line." Exclaimed Ms Zheng, the first citizen to use this service.
