Sanxiang Town recently completed the upgrading of self-service inquiry machines, becoming the first in Guangdong to provide self-inquiry of credit report for Hong Kong and Macao residents. Hong Kong and Macao residents can go to the nearest agency of the Sanxiang Sub-branch of Zhongshan Rural Commercial Bank to receive their personal credit reports without visiting the manual counters at the People's Bank of China in Shiqi District.

At present, personal credit reports can be inquired online through the official website of the Credit Reference Center, the People's Bank of China, UnionPay, and online and mobile banking apps of some commercial banks that have opened credit report inquiry services. Online channels offer a simple version of personal credit report without inquiry fees.

In person, personal credit reports can be inquired at the Zhongshan Central Branch of the People's Bank of China and 22 commercial bank agent sites which provide a more detailed version of reports. Citizens should take valid identity documents when doing inquiry. The first two inquiries each year are free of charge, and for additional ones, 10 yuan will be charged each time. Citizens can check the nearest inquiry branches on the WeChat applet "广东征信预约" (Guangdong Credit Appointment) and make an appointment.
