The basic pension for retirees of enterprises and public institutions will be paid out at the raised amount starting from July, and the difference amount from January to June will be paid in one installment.

It is the 17th consecutive year since 2005 that China has increased the basic pension for enterprise retirees, and it is also the 6th consecutive year since 2016 that the pension for retirees of enterprises and public institutions has been increased simultaneously.

The applicable subject of this pension adjustment is retirees who became pensioners before January 1, 2021.

The pension adjustment increases quotas and appropriate policy support, benefiting 366,600 enterprise and public institution retirees in Zhongshan.
