To promote people's awareness of the Civil Code, the Guangdong Higher People's Court launched a campaign in May to broadcast the "100 Civil Code Trials" live for cases related to the Civil Code on tingshen.court.gov.cn.

The campaign held a trial at Zhongshan NO.1 People's Court on the afternoon of July 5. A liability dispute case for a domestic animal injury was broadcast live. The court will announce its judgment when the case is closed.

Live broadcasting a trial online is a unique symbol of open justice and judicial transparency in the Internet era. Since the beginning of this year, the Zhongshan NO.1 People's Court has broadcast 4,795 court hearings live online, spreading awareness of the rule of law to the public.
