August 1, 2021 marked the 94th anniversary of the People's Liberation Army of China. On the day, the Zhongshan Marriage Registration Center provided special marriage registration services for servicemen and ex-servicemen to honor their contributions. Three couples who made appointments in advance took their vows and received marriage certificates, entering a new stage of their lives.

At the marriage certification ceremony, the three couples read out their promises to their partners together. Subsequently, Liao Xiaokang, secretary of the Leading Party Members' Group and director of the Zhongshan Civil Affairs Bureau, issued marriage certificates to the couples and extended sincere blessings.

"Today's solemn ceremony completely surpassed our expectations and deepened our sense of seriousness and responsibility for our marriage," said Lin Zhuohao, an ex-serviceman from Zhupai Village, Shenwan Town, and his wife Wang Yingsi, adding that they would remember every word they said at the ceremony; to respect and be loyal to each other, and protect their love and family together.
