After several rounds of disinfection, Zhongshan Gymnasium reopened on September 10 to meet citizen's fitness needs.

The gymnasium was used as the city's largest temporary inoculation site. A total of 560,000 shots of the COVID-19 vaccine were administered during its 3-month operation.

Upon the approval of the Novel Coronavirus Pneumonia Epidemic Prevention and Control Headquarters of Zhongshan City, fitness venues such as Zhongshan Gymnasium, Xingzhong Stadium, National Fitness Square, Zimaling Fitness Square, Xingzhong Tennis Court and the Zhongshan Sports Training Center will continue to implement regular epidemic prevention and control measures. Citizens entering indoor fitness venues must wear masks, record their temperatures and show their Guangdong health codes and travel codes.
