Zhongshan will open a non-stop shuttle bus route to Macao starting from May 1 to facilitate the travel of residents and promote the integrated development of the two places.

The initial density of runs on the line will be one run per hour, with the specific schedule subject to an official announcement.

To travel to Macao by bus, Zhongshan residents have to get off at Zhuhai Port, and then walked into the joint inspection building before taking other vehicles to the destination. The non-stop bus to be opened will take passengers to downtown Macao.

The bus route will start from Jiaotong Building, pass TYC Mall, extend along Guangzhou-Zhuhai West Expressway, stretch into Macao via Hengqin Port, and end at the entrance to Kee Kwan Motor Road Co Ltd on Avenida de Almeida Ribeiro.

The initially proposed fare is about 50 yuan (subject to an official announcement).
